Their soft colorful petals stood tall among the green. Though delicate by touch and feel, I felt their menacing stare like a cold, hard, stinging rain.
In either case, those sun-kissed purple blooms deserved to be captured.
With Longwood Garden’s Orchid Extravaganza you can see orchids of all different types, shapes, and colors. If you are in need of a winter break, and you reside nearby, do yourself a favor and visit Longwood Gardens.
Each season has something special for everyone. I myself, am not much of a gardener, but capturing these beautiful garden delights provides me with a challenge.
Photographing flowers are not as easy as it looks. Although I must have captured well over 100 flowers, and landscapes, there are only a few that I like enough to share with you.
The hardest part is getting a sharp image. The photo may look sharp on the LCD screen, but on a large computer screen, not so much. Much of the time, it’s back to the drawing board, or another trip to Longwood Gardens.
